'Nduja Festival

The Sagra della 'Nduja di Spilinga is one of the most representative gastronomic events of the Calabrian summer and takes place on 8 August in the historic centre of Spilinga, the place of origin of one of the most iconic products of local cuisine. During the festival, alleyways and squares transform into an open-air gastronomic trail, animated by stands, local producers and tasting points. The event offers the opportunity to discover the 'nduja directly in its place of origin, learning about its characteristics, production techniques and strong bond with the territory. The 'nduja is offered in various preparations, from traditional recipes to pairings with other typical Calabrian products. Alongside the gastronomic aspect, the festival is a moment of local life, with music, encounters and the typical atmosphere of summer village festivals.
