Scenic viewpoints, observation points and evocative places ideal for photographs and visual content, among sea, villages and characteristic landscapes of the area.
The symbol of Tropea, one of the most photographed places in Italy.
The most spectacular viewpoint on the Costa degli Dei.

A wide-open terrace over the Costa degli Dei — cliffs, turquoise sea and some of the area's most striking coastal profiles. The right place to pause and take in the stretch of coast between Tropea and Ricadi.
Panoramic view over the Costa degli Dei.

One of the most famous viewpoints on the Costa degli Dei, set on the Capo Vaticano promontory in the municipality of Ricadi. It looks out over the Tyrrhenian Sea and the bays below — Grotticelle in particular — and on a clear day the Aeolian Islands, the Strait of Messina, the Sicilian coast and Mount Etna all come into view.

An ancient tower overlooking the Tyrrhenian, suspended between history, sea and silence. The Torre di Joppolo is one of those places that tell the wilder, lesser-known side of the Costa degli Dei.
Ancient coastal lookout tower. View over the Tyrrhenian Sea. A quiet, deeply identifying place. An excellent stop for an itinerary between Joppolo and Nicotera. Ideal for photography, walks and discovering the area.

A coastal viewpoint above the Scalea shoreline in Santa Domenica di Ricadi. It offers one of the best vantage points in the area: a clear look down at the sea and the path that drops to the beach below.

The Belvedere of Pizzo, also known as "U Spunduni", is one of the most iconic viewpoints on the Costa degli Dei. Set in the heart of the historic centre next to Piazza della Repubblica, it offers a sweeping view over the sea, the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia and, on clear days, as far as the Aeolian Islands. The perfect place to pause, take in Pizzo and lose yourself in its panorama.
Worth seeing: sea view, Piazza della Repubblica, Castello Murat, historic centre, glimpses of the marina.
