Church of San Giuseppe

In the historic centre of Vibo Valentia, the Church of San Giuseppe is one of the most interesting stops for those visiting the city's religious architecture. Also known as the former Jesuit church, it is a Baroque building datable between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The church is also closely tied to the city's religious life: according to local tradition, one of the most evocative processions of the Easter period departs from here — that of the Madonna Desolata.
