Artisan Woodworking Workshop

The Bottega artigiana del Legno is located in a small town in the province of Vibo Valentia and is a real, active workshop every day. Here the carpenter does not perform his craft: he practises it. And that is precisely what makes the experience authentic. Entering the workshop, you are immediately immersed in the atmosphere of real work. The smell of freshly cut wood, the benches worn by time, the tools used every day tell a story of practice, patience and attention to detail. You spend time beside the craftsman as he carries out his real commissions. You observe the gestures, ask questions and listen to stories that arise spontaneously while the hands keep working. When possible, you actively take part in some phases: measuring, sanding, assembling. During the experience a simple wooden object is made following the pace and methods of the workshop. Not a mass-produced item but the result of patient, careful work that the visitor takes home at the end of the day.
