Discover the green heart of Calabria with a guided tour through the Calabrian Serre: Serra San Bruno, the Regional Natural Park of the Serre, the Charterhouse, the village and a traditional lunch inspired by the flavours of Calabria’s mountain areas.
There is a side of Calabria that does not face the sea, but breathes among forests, mountains, monasteries and small inland villages. The Guided Tour of the Calabrian Serre takes you to discover this fresher, more authentic and peaceful side of the region. Starting from the Coast of the Gods, you will reach Serra San Bruno, one of the most charming places in inland Calabria. The day combines nature, culture, spirituality and tradition: you will explore the area of the Regional Natural Park of the Serre, walk through green landscapes and quiet atmospheres, discover the village of Serra San Bruno and visit the Charterhouse Museum, a symbolic place of Carthusian spirituality. During the tour, there will also be a lunch break in the area, designed to let you taste a different Calabria from the coastal one: slower, more intimate and deeply connected to the scents of the forest and traditional cuisine. On request and depending on site availability, the experience can be enriched with a stop in Mongiana, at the Royal Bourbon Ironworks or at Villa Vittoria, places linked to the industrial and natural history of the Serre.
